Exclamation Win 2K3 - ICA desktop session

In my office, I have an account in a windows server 2k3, and I often acess my account using the ICA desktop session.
When I left some applications open and then logoff, when I logon they're still open.... why?
But If I do the logon after 1 day, the applications aren't open....why?

I'm asking this, because I need to logoff and left one application running, but how can I do this if 1 day after the app is shutted down?

Do you mean "Citrix" terminal Service ? because most of searches for ICA Desktop session end up talking about Citrix Client ! In either case take a look at this link see if it helps you:

My first reaction is that you shouldn't just leave Terminal sessions open.

Are you logging off, or just closing the session? If you just close the Terminal Window (by hitting the X), using Terminal Services Client your session remains open until the idle session time-out is reached. I assume this applies to any type of Terminal client, including ICS, but there seem to be several different versions. Are you using the 32 bit, the Java, or the ActiveX one?

You might want to just try adjusting the idle-timeout, which, if you're running Terminal Server, I think is under the user properties' Session tab.

Thank you very much. Tomorrow I'll try that in my office and then I'll post here the result.

Question

OK, I still have the same problem!
I just can't customize anything, because I'm an user not an administrator.
Is there anyway to keep me log on even if the idle session time-out is reached?

Sorry. If you're not able to adjust those timeout values - which I suspect is what your problem is - then there's not much you can do.

And if..... I had a profile size of 10MB and I use more than 30MB, in this case I'm not allowed to log off until I delete some files......
So, If I just close de terminal session (by hitting the "X") the session will still being close when the idle session time-out is reached?

You will still lose the connection. When Idle Timeout is reached, as an Admin you can either "Disconnect" the user, or "End" the session. It sounds like your Admins are ending your session, in which case, the processes are killed, which trumps any quota message preventing you from logging off.
