Mac network issue....

Hi, I am a windows guy and I know nothing about macs, even though ironicly my first comp was a mac... anyway how do I refresh the network browser list.....

Well, you didn't specify if you were in Mac OS X (there is an app in earlier versions of OS X actually called Network Browser). From what I understand, it should automatically refresh the shares in the network. If it isn't seeing the computer you're looking for, make sure that computer is set up properly again. I always connect to other Macs using command k (or Go menu, Connect to Server) and enter the name of the computer I'm connecting to. Everything usually shows up right away for me unless the other machine isn't set up right, whether that be incorrect network settings or the ethernet cable isn't secure.
