linux/flashplayer wont install

hi all,just installed ubunto linux on an xp3 pc to try it out,seems good but went on utube,it asked me to install flash player 9 but when i try to run same it just hangs there, any clues guys n thanks.ps utubes ok on the xp.

download flashplayer for linux using either yum,yum extended,synaptic package manager or one of the others or go to repository and download directly,click on package and install.
Do not try and install from non linux sources as windows .exe files wont run unemulated on linux.
