Register globals sme 7.4 linux

Hi guys

I am trying to work out how to turn on the register globals on sme centos 7.4 but to no avail.

I know it has to be changed in the php.ini file which i cannot find or navigate to...(not very linux literate).

I placed an info.php file on my server and it tells me the register_globals are off.

Can anyone help me with this problem please
