Tracking software

Hi Guys
I have been given HTC HD2 windows 6.5 based ???Smart?? phone..
In the Windows file I have found a program Call
GPSOneNMEAServer.exe and another file
called GPSLogfilebackup which is a text file containing raw GPS data,,
I have converted the data in this file to a KML and when opened in google earth shows, 2 mins of a journey i made recently..... i have since shut down all AGPRS and GPS that i can find...
As my company have this device sync with there severs every 5 mins, I can only assume this data is available to them on demand..
I Do not use or ever have used or activated any of the mapping or sat nav functions or programs on the phone..
So therefore my questions are??
1. Is this software included as standard in windows mobile packages..
2. What triggers this program to track a journey..
3. Can I delete or corrupt this program,, (renaming and delete do not work)
4 Am I just being paranoid ?? or is somone watching me, without my consent.

windows has always monitored its applications in some form or another through browsers, media players etc and have been taken to court many times now for such which is why all of France`s schools and Govt. use Linux so maybe you are not paranoid as most cellular communication is monitored through Langley Virginia at the George Bush centre for intelligence (a.k.a CIA),what I will say is that generally if you delete such files the application will fail to work properly so if really paranoid about being monitored then get a new Linux phone and ditch your windows based media phone.

Not many people are aware that George Bush the assumed bumbling oaf was the director of the CIA for some 10 or more years!!,and that beneath Langley,Virginia is enough computers to record every phone call in the world for 30 yrs.
In 2009 the USA had a cyber strategy that by 2011 all systems worldwide would be monitored by the CIA and NSA and new satellites like skynet 4,5 etc leased to them by the M.O.D would gather such information throughout Europe and the world,I hope this gives you an insight into the state of your privacy and the world today.
If you look at your windows copyright agreement it states they have sole rights to thier operating system and products so they can do virtually anything they like without any privacy violation as they own your phone and any information therein, hope you are suitably paranoid now,you should be.

when you say the company gave you the phone is said company CIA- LOL !!
HTC make perfectly good linux Android phones and to date I have never heard of any linux operating system that ships with spyware to monitor you or your comings and goings beyond your control as it is modular and as such if it were put in could be removed from o/s without destablising complete O/S as most spyware does in windows.

here is some news on coming upgrades for your phone depending on specs but as still windows based i dont think it will change much as far as privacy goes although windows has stated that in mango tracking devices will not be employed if you believe such from them

http://news.softpedia.com/news/Next-...s-200264.shtml
If you can upgrade to mango given your phone specs as in first link demonstration and if mango is without tracking devices as Microsoft claim then I think you have got the answer you are looking for and my work is done (:^D)

problem solved.......
