Adding Android OS to Forums

With the advent of smart phones/tablets and the rising popularity of the Android OS for use on them, it would seem relevant to establish a forum for Android OS issues.

Many organizations are working on ways to matriculate these devices into their organizations for official use and it is going to become critical to get good answers/information concerning how to network/secure/rebuild, etc. these devices.

I am currently learning the ins and outs of a Toshiba Thrive tablet with Android 3.1 and troubleshooting is difficult with very few sources for help currently available.

I agree, maybe a mobile device section to cover all devices? But I would also like a seperate virus area.....you never know what you will get for xmas

Android already has free antivirus apps in the apps store so seperate section for same seems redundant.
As Android is open source you can get anything you need here : http://source.android.com/index.html

Since Microsoft operating systems and applications are proprietary and copyright protected having a mobile device section to cover all devices would be impractical and as stated for all things android you can get them free as open source from Android.
