Not Able to Install FreeBSD

Hi,

I downloaded FreeBSD unix Operating System as a .iso file from "freebsd.org".I wrote it in a CD(Bootable when we write an .iso file) and installed it successfully. This is a mini OS(does not have any additional softwares).

Then i downloaded the full OS(.iso)from the same site,i wrote it in a CD and and while i was installing it gave an error message
"Media Error", so i tried writing in another CD, but it gave the same error message.The Operating system got installed but additional packages were not installed.What might be the problem?Please help.

The iso was probably corupt, where did you download it from? did you check the check sums after the download finished?? or did you use a download manager to download it? sometimes these cause the iso to corupt. if you need help installing the other packages just give me a list of what you need
