SBS2003 - Exchange 2003

I have installed SBS2003 and migrated mailboxes from the old exchange 5.5 server. SOME of the new mailboxes refuse to import attachments when restoring the data from a pst file. Desperately tearing out my hair with this....

How do I make the mailboxes behave as they did on the 5.5 exchange server?

When you were installing the Exchange 2k3,, did the software give you an option to upgrade from exchange 5.5 ? if so, did you dismount the database (EDB and Priv files) before attemting to upgrade ?

Opps.... No I did not.

As it turns out, one of the processors in the server was faulty, and this caused quite a deal of corruptions in the whole migration process.

All is working now..... I did not re-import in the end, I just ran the eseutil utility and repaired the corruption. All has been fine since then.
