Can't seem to run Remote Desktop Connection

I need help trying to access my home computer via Remote Desktop Connection from my computer at work. Currently at home, I have the following setup....

- Windows XP
- Running No-IP.com's Dynamic DNS Provider
- No-IP DUC (Dynamic Update Client) 2.1, which works with No-IP's service.
- A Linksys Router

I currently have port 3389 open, to allow access to my XP system. But when I try to login from work, it says the following....

"The client could not connect to the computer. Blablabla"

Can anyone help me out......could it be XP's built in firewall? Do I have to restart the system?

PS> I have no firewalls running other than Linksys's built in hardware.....
