Tracking in Word 2002 (WXP-Pro)

I would like to save a final version of a Word document that has been through some changes.
The problem is that when I save this document, all the changes that have been done are still in the document.
I have tried to turn off the tracking option (TRK) in Word, but the changes are still visible in the document.

How can i save this document without the changes being visible in the document?

As always, any suggestions are appreciated.

Set the tracking options to none in the tracking section, look at this sample:

With the document open in Word, go to Tools>Track Changes>Accept or Reject Changes and "accept" them. All the highlighting should disappear.
