Question Microsoft Word Help

I Just upgraded ti MS Word 2000. In my previous version, I had a (I think) a macro that signed my scanned signature on any document I wrote. The command was UW, and when typed, it would print my actual signature. I am trying to get the same thing on my new Word, but I am unable to figure it out with either the "help" instructions or the Word 2000 book by QUE.
Can anyone help me figgure this one out?:

I have read about this before, macros being disabled or not working once you upgrade to 2000. I subscribe to a newsletter called Woody's Office Watch. check thie link and you should be able to get more information. WWW@woodyswatch.com

I have been adding my signature to documents for a while now but I use the simple technique, I have my signature saved as a bmp file and I just insert it in my document where it's needed.

Question MS WORD HELP

Dear bob4u2,
How did you achieve the signature in the documents that needed to be signed (in your design)
Thanks, Udo

Wink signature

Okay, step by step instructions...
Sign a piece of paper (use white paper without lines)
If you have a scanner or know someone who does, just scan and then crop the image down to where only your signature is the whole image. Save the image as a .bmp file or .jpg file (which is a picture type file) Then you can insert the signature anywhere into your document. However if you notice the actual signature is too large (it looks too big) for the document then you can use any photo editing software to resize it even smaller until looks better.
If you have a digital camera you can take a picture of your signature and then crop it down to the right size.
I don't think it's possible to insert my signature into this email, but as you know a picture is worth a thousand words.
