Word document printing

I have a problem with printing word documents. If I create a word doc on any version of word that I have had I cannot print it.

If I send the doc to someone else they can print it no problem.

If I recieve a word doc from someone else I can print it.

Currently running win2000 and word 2000

Any ideas what is wrong?

no error messages....just never prints.

Is there some kind of setting in word that can cause this??
