Spyware/Adware destroyer??

Anyone know a good, free download to get rid of Spyware/Adware? My computer is terribly infected but I can't find a free link.

Download these 2 free programs;
Adware http://www.snapfiles.com/download/dladaware.html
Spybot S&D http://download.html.it/redirect.asp...ybotsd12%2Eexe

Make sure you update Ad-aware before you run the first scan.
Don't update Spybot! I haven't heard too many good things on 1.3. They both work great! I just fixed my friend's computer which was very slow. One of the !st things I did was ran both programs and they detected over 1000 adware/ spyware!

I started out using Spy Bot but Ad Aware is much much better. I would recommend using that one.

For everybody out there. Those products are all shareware. Ad-aware and Spybot S&D are both freeware. For every product that is there, there is a freeware product that does the same thing. Don't waste your money. Try http://www.snapfiles.com/freeware/freeware.html instead. There you'll find products that have been proven to work. Not that those don't but it's better to download products that have been recommended in this forum. Especially since most people that post here have no idea what products to use or how to use them.

Some people complain it deletes files it's not supposed to? You can go to www.download.com and check the user reviews, the bad ones. Everyone says that 1.2 is alot better. I rather play it safe and stick 1,2. If you have 1.2 along with Ad-aware I don't think there's really a need to risk it.
