Backup My PC - corrupt files
I am using STOMP’s Backup My PC, which was Veritas at one time. For about a month now, backups corrupt files and/or wipe out the whole drive. I have scanned with NAV, adaware etc..and find nothing. I have low level formatted the HD’s, thinking something might be lurking. Fresh install of W2k Pro and BUMP (Backup My PC)..same results. I have used ver 5 BUMP since it came out and never had a problem. Can it just be the software or something with my hardware? STOMP support canned response was to uninstall and re-install..which I obviously was doing..but does not help.
