How to create image with Drive Image 7

I want to CREATE an image using my Drive Image 7. Not from inside Windows but when I boot with my Powerquest Recovery Environment !! Now it seems that I can only RESTORE ...
This was easy with the "old" versions but now I just can't find out how to do it ??
Why I want to this is, because my Windows has crashed I want to save all my files before fomatting my harddrive ......
Anyone have an idea how to create an image without entering Windows ??
