Question Apple IIc to WinXP data transfer...!help!

Any of you guys have a clue on the best method of transfering...important historical, and nostalgic data from an old apple IIC to...Anywhere my Athlon 1800 running Win XP (or Win anything if need be) can reach it? apple II emulator?....printer ports?... transfer it to my fathers old Macintosh SE/30? first...? blowing the dust off of both with a leafblower first of course...

What are you transferring?

If we are talking data like documents, images and so forth, I suppose you could transfer with a floppy disk.

However, I don't know if Apple II read PC-formatted disks. I know MACs do.

If they do, problem solved.

If not, use Apple formatted disks and I believe you can look on the web for software for your XP floppy drive to read Apple/Mac formatted disks.

Good Luck.

I see you can get an Apple IIc modem cable for 55 cents at this company. Then plug in an external modem, buy an old (less than 56k) one dirt cheap, upload or email the files to yourself, download with your PC.

If the data is in some weird format, there are Apple II emulators for PCs or Macs so you can run the apps.

Talking Apple IIC to PC transfer

Thanks guys.well ..I was thinking of using some sort of emulator as well but then did a little--no make that a lot of research and discovered several methods but the appropriate software seems to be this --- Ap2222pc.zip --- Then I did a little more and found that Commodore Vic20 (or any commodore) to PC was also quite possible! So I downloaded every Vic20 game there was--several hundred...zipped them up and they still fit on a floppy! Here are the two sites that have it all...including a million emulators...
