Post IncrediMailXe Security ?

I am using Windows XP Pro on a Pentium 4 1.4 gigs 256 ram PC.
I have just installed a new email program called IncrediMailXE the exact build is ID:1750660. I am wondering and interested if anyone knows if there are any security flaws with the program. I know Microsoft keeps updating Outlook Express with security patches. I would like to know if there is a need to worry about security while using IncredimailXe as my email program?
Thank-You

I've been using it for ages... I have not seen any security issues being raised.

IncrediMail

Yep, Great program....I had the pro edition 'til a few days ago.
Then IncrediMail forced me to upgrade to a newer edition and now my registration number (that I got from, well you know) won't work, so I'm back to the free edition with the ads and the default skin....But, It works great and I don't know of any security problems, but I have my virus protection turned on all the time.

More What?

Plenty more security concerns?
More E-mail programs?
Or, Just plenty more period?
More upgrades?
Or, do you have a new registration number for me?
I choose the latter

Hi msce2005. A few months back I had to finally dump IncredimailXE as a hopeless case for persistently being the gateway through which some very resilient and stubborn data miner spyware was being downloaded into my system.

Removing these with Spybot or Ad-Aware made no difference... these data miner spyware would reappear within minutes... and every time at startup. I eventually had no choice but to cancel my use of IncredimailXE.

But apart from this persistent spyware problem - I found IncredimailXE to be the very best and most sophisticated email utility so far developed, bar none. I loved all the bells and whistles, and the colourful format and the smilies.

And so I've been searching for some way to eliminate the spyware problem which comes with IncredimailXE - but so far to no avail. There is one option I have discovered, and that is to upgrade from my free Ad-Aware to the paid Ad-Aware which has a special feature which prevents known spyware from being downloaded into your system.

I now use POP Peeper as my email alerter... and although it has a five-star rating, I've had some very heated exchanges with the admin who run the POP Peeper forum board - about what a pathetic dog's dinner of total incompetence is the design of the POP Peeper emailing page.

I've had to finally give up trying to work out how to use it... how to compose an email... or move received email into a 'Received Email' archive folder etc etc.

But as an alerter for newly-arrived email into the Inbox of your email account - it's not bad. It even sets up a flashing light (your keyboard Scroll Lock light) -- and it makes whatever sound you select as an audio clip off the internet.

But boy! is the POP Peeper emailing page a bucket of crap! The POP Peeper forum board Admin just hated me telling them this... ... "sssshhhhh" they wanted to say... and the more they sulked... the more I enjoyed telling them this...
