Question Disconnection Program

Does anyone know any programs that will disconnect dial-up internet connections automatically when a phone call comes?

Or is there another way to do this without software?

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply bbeard67. Already tried with my ISP, but they said it wasn't available. Don't know why, but disconnection works on my other computer.

Any other ideas???

It's been awhile since i used dial up but I do recall that having call waiting would kick me off the net if another call came in.
had to configure my dial up to use *70 to prevent it from happening

I believe the programs that are available for this require call waiting as well.

Wait, your other computer?
Do you have a home network sharing an internet connection?

Thanks for the reply bbeard. No I am not sharing a home network, I just have two seperate (non-networked) computers connected to the internet. Also I do have call waiting, so any programs you suggest will probably work.

Ideas??

seperate phone lines both with call waiting
might be cheaper and faster to go to dsl or cable but i understand its not available everywhere.

But anyway here are a couple you can search the net for "Internet Call waiting" to find more

I've used Call Wave quite awhile ago it will popup a message saying you have a call and you have the choice to take the call or not. (also if you have caller ID it would show the caller)
Pagoo Didn't like this one but i'm sure they've updated since i used it.
