Outlook express and attachments

Hello everyone,

Hopefully this is not too much of a stupid question but my outlook express seems to strip out virtually every attachment I recieve and it is very frustrating. I tried to forward my CV from work email to home and it was stripped out (written in word). How can I get round this ???

I believe it might be a problem with the security settings, is it as simple as just unchecking the "do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus" box in security options ?? I do have norton antivirus set up on my machine... could I just scan attachements with that before i open them ?

Open Outlook Express and then go to Tools / Options /and then Security Tab.... remove the check mark where is says "Do not allow attachment to be saved...blah blah..." that should do the trick.
