coolwebprogram in my PC

I found coolwebprogram program in my computer. According to one website www.2-spyware.com/entry-coolwebprogram.html it is similar to spyware. Still I do not understand, do I need to scan my computer for viruses or not?

Also I saw Infus, eZula and Gator programs. Are they bad?

inetinf.exe is the executable that starts coolwebprogram. The process is dangerous - if it is running, it means that your system is probably infected with the CoolWebSearch.time malware. Located in the folder "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Services\". Beware!!! it can make damage like slowing down the performance of your computer, watching your internet actions and collecting your personal important data ... the usual crap that spyware apps do.

Infus Dialer (infus.exe) is an adult content dialer specific to porn related material (stay off the porn kid ).

eZula TopText is a browser plug-in for Internet Explorer. If you check your network traffic logs after installing the plug-in you'll see that there was unusual HTTP traffic between Internet Explorer and a foreign server, each time you navigated between URLs. Common firewalls and even ZoneAlarm can't block this kind of traffic, as both the port (80) as the application (Internet Explorer) are considered to be okay.
Being an Internet Explorer plug-in may be a trojan's wettest dream for that matter
eZula states that TopText is NOT spyware, but my suggestion is that you totally get rid of TopText (if you knowingly installed it).

Gator is a spyware application associated with the Gator advertising program.

My sugesstion is that you install a antivirus and firewall to monitor data broadcasting from your computer. I use Symantec Norton AntiVirus and Norton Firewall and have no problems with spyware. You can find them at:

Good Luck

Hi maruxz, If I were you I would download and install the following programs to protect your computer. All are FREE and can be found on Google.
1. Lavasoft Adaware 6.
2. Sygate Personal Firewall.
3. Spywareblaster.
4. Avast antivirus
5. Spybot Search and Destroy., and
6. Bazooka (trojan program) from www.kephyr.com

After downloading, update and run them all.
