Open\Save option in outlook

I use outlook 2002 and I mistakenly cleared the 'Always ask before opening this type of file' check box when I opened a recent file attachment. How do I reset this option so that Outlook will let me either save the attachment to a file or open it immediately?

Click on tools>options then have a thorough look at all the options. I can't tell you exactly because I don't have outlook 2002.
Failing that I think it would be internet options but I'm kicking myself because I can't even find the option for that!

In Windows Explorer click View then folder Options
Select the File Types tab.
Scroll down to the extension type that you want to reset.
Select the extension type, then click Advanced.
Check the "Confirm open after download" check box, then click OK.
