Send a message via MSN to snowmonkey
Does your HTTP and IMAP mail works ? Did you try to re create the email account on your email application to see if that would change anything?

cheers

Open your email program and look at the entry for the "Outgoing mail SMTP" in the properties of the account you use to send email.

Since I don't know what email software you're using, I can't tell you exactly how to access those account properties but once you find it, Look at the outgoing server entry (SMTP). If there are numbers (probably 127.0.0.1), then it's most like a problem with your anti virus program.

If that's the case, try disabling the email scan of your AV program and see if the problem is resolved.

ok i left out alot of info here:

First heres the error message:

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'KDB Ebay', Server: 'mail.kdbsurplus.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

I'M using OE6 (Outlook Express6) have no A/V S/W running, I have secured login checked off to the web host server, I deleted the email account and remade it, i tried just about all I could think of.

I have 2 email accounts using an email server and he asked me to change the port from 25 to XX and those emails worked i can send with them but these don't i tried changing to the same port and nothing.

I disabled SP2 firewall, enabled access to port 25. i need help some one Please
