with all of these i recieve the same errors.

The error msg says cm 03/04.exe(or which ever game) has caused a serious problem and must close. Then get options to view more details:

BTW i must say that is a pretty cool game.. i played it before... but back to the point.... maybe there is nothing wrong with your PC... try contacting the guys at "championship manager " and telling them about this problem. maybe they have a patch or something to fix this up...
also try to play it with the least options enabled i.e. with the default setting (of ur game) enabled.

Hi Cheers for the reply
I have already tried this getting in touch with championship manager people and they did not know of a solution that is why i think that there mustr be a problem with my actual computer.

Cheers Sean

Hi,

I'm having the same problems with my cm 03/04 version, the game will crash and go back to windows within 10 minutes. Also it comes up with errors like array access out of bounds and that its caused a serious problem, but the majority of the times its just an error report. I've tried reinstalling the game and windows xp, but theres been no hope. I also thought that it was a hardware problem but I was told that it was a software problem. So I have contacted Eidos with the problem and am hoping for a reply in the next couple of days. have you found a solution!

I had a similar problem and had similar spec's as yours. I solved the problem by reducing the graphics effects and sound effects. I think the problem was a combination of processor getting hot/ graphics card not quite up to the job and xp using a lot of resources. Windows xp is well known for needing plenty of memory to run smoothly.
Try stopping all other programs that are running in the background eg: antivirus, firewall. Make sure you re-activate them all before going on line.

Cheers For the replies,
Shane I also contacted edios and although the were polite and quick to respond they did not have a clue how to fix the problem,
Vidster i have tried all of that i dont think my problem is related to Championship Manager, i have got to the position that i think it is a hardware problem, graphics/memory, so i tried lots of combinations of my hardware and i have got it down to a dodgy motherboard and i am currently having it replaced. Hope this fixes my problem.

Cheers Sean

Sean,

Have you by any chance got ethernet controller installed correctly on your computer? As I think it could be the cause of my problem.
