backup utility tape reallocation question

I am trying to use the default backup utility that comes installed with Windows and am having trouble understanding how the tape reallocation works.

All I have to work with is a 6 tape autoloader with of course 1 being the cleaning tape.

What I want to do is, use two tapes for my differentials and rotate each tape every other day. I will also rotate two tapes every other week for my Full Week Ends.

My problem is that I am not familiar enough with the software to know how the tape reallocation will work if I setup a new media pool or even if I need to do this.

For example, I'm hoping that the tape being used for pool 1, (mon-wed-sat), will continue to be used until the tape is full. (I'm assuming that I will be notified when it is full. Is this correct?). What I'm worried about is that the tape will be written to only once, monday for example, then placed back into the free media pool where it first drew the tape from and look for another free media to use for wednesdays backup.

Is this where the reallocation option in my media pool comes in?

If I create a media pool and enable a certain number of reallocations, does this mean that the tapes in that pool will be used for the same backup request that number of times or that the tape will simply be used that number of times total for any backup request?

The question did not come out as clear as I had hoped so feel free to ask questions if clarification is needed.
