voice chat software with firewall support....

i am looking for a voice chat software which support firewall.my current yahoo messenger cannot connect under fireewall.plz give me some information about this...

i used many software like yahoo messenger, skype and dingotel. but i found dingotel worked smoothly rather then other two.it also work under firewall. I can run it even under my official firewall. i found it from www.download.com

johnus_350 - what firewall are you using? Configuring it properly may be all that's needed.

Yahool Voice chat uses TCP ports 5000 and 5001 and UDP 5000 to 5010. You need to open those ports through the firewall.

(Note: If you're trying to use voice chat at work through their network, it may be the ports it uses are blocked and there's no way around that. No way without jeopardizing your job, that is. )

If you are also using a router, you will need to either forward those ports through the router or put your computer in the router's DMZ, which effectively bypasses the router's firewalling abilities.

www.dingotel.com is really cool.i just downloaded their pc 2 pc software.i found lots of info from there.but can u specify briefly the performance comparison with other software?..what's their 2 way?..any idea about that...

oh........dingotel is looking simple & supports most if the firewall which u can imagine. U don’t need to fill any form. just put ur email address and sign dingotel to make chat with any community. whenever any kind of chating software needs to signup b4 u start …….

i use ventrillo and team speak during online gaming sessions fine for me and im behind 2 firewalls ( 1 on router 1 on pc )
only had to allow communication on local pc , my motorola wireless router let it flow on through .. not sure what kinda chatting you wanted to do ( 1-1 or comunity type chat ) but i use ventrillo alot and its easy to set u pa ventrillo server to .
