NAT error

my problem I is wit bit torrent downloading (NAT, Network Address Translation error) for the port 6881 (and alll others), I have tried everything to get rid of all firewalls, I have XP pro SP2, I have the fiewall disabled, and I even disabled the firewall in the router, and allowed ports 6881-6889 open and enabled and disabled NAT for the router while I was trying, I am currently on a 512 bigpond broadband connection so im thinking maybe it is the connection, that it is firewalled before it gets to my pc, does anybody else have this problem, and do you know anyway of getting around it?

Do you not think you should be addressing your grievance to the following: -

BitTorrent Technical Support

A word to the wise; never, ever disable your software Firewall or the inbuilt router's Firewall, or NAT come to think of it. The internet is dangerous enough without asking for trouble, IMO.

Cool.........

BTW, I've seen Sasser and MSBlast in action on a friend's pc....It took literally 1-2 seconds to get hit from booting the puter connected via a cable modem. Literally!!!

Stresses the importance of a installing a quality Firewall, properly configured and up-to-date at all times, at the very least, IMO......
