Publisher - Convert text in boxes to continuous text

I have a Publisher 2003 document, and the text is in separate boxes throughout the document. I want to convert all the text to one continuous (two column) document so that when I add text, it pushes all the following text to the next column or page as required.

With the text in separate boxes, when you add text, the excess text disappears behind and you have to adjust all the boxes to make it fit.

If anyone can tell me how to do this, it will be much appreciated.

Create a new, two-column, blank publisher document. Redue the window to fill half the screen. Open another instance of Publisher (unless v3.0 can display two unconnected docs side by side). Open your existing multi-page doc in this second instance of Publisher. Now copy and paste existing text from one document to the other.
