outlook express wont let me create a message or reply. help????

hi. i have a problem with the outllook express six. it seems that when ever i try to create an email (just by clicking on "create mail") an error message pops up. it states: "there was an error opening this message. an error has occured. not only that, but whenever i open the outlook program this error comes up: "address book not installed correctly." or something along those lines. i cannot reinstall outlook express because whenever i try to it would state: "you already have a newer version of IE6, setup cannot continue". i tried going on the registery keys in the regedit program as one website suggested (change its value to 0 or something) and it only made matters worse it somehow deleted the whole registery key for the outlook express! i can still read the messages in outlook express (somehting that has been fixed last night) but now i cannot reply, or make any messages or forward anything. please, is there someone who can help?????
