Unhappy Lost Quick Launch icon / Windows XP
By mistake I deleted and lost the small quick launch icon that enables one when clicking it to bring back forward the Desk. How can I get it back as I cant' find it in waste basket nor does it reappear when I click it in quick launch link in task bar?

You can download a small utility to restore the Show Desktop icon to the Quick Launch area on this page.

Or you can do it manually by following the directions on this page.

A Google search for "restore show desktop icon" will give you around 270,000 links to instructions if the above link doesn't work.
