Question Website design software/program

I really need some help! I am trying to design my website, and I have been using Microsoft Frontpage for the longest time! All of a sudden my page doesn't work on some browswers (namely: Foxfire) . I am looking for a different progam that can be used similarly as Microsoft Frontpage. If it has a one time flat fee, I would be willing to pay for it, but I do not want to have a monthly membership or something that is outrageously priced! Does anyone know where I can get such a program??

Hot Dog, Coffee Cup and Dreamweaver are the ones I hear the most about. Dreamweaver is one of the best but it's also pricey. All three are normal, commercial software. You buy the license one time and it's yours to use. Like most commercial software, their developers may or may not charge for future upgrades and updates.

A Google search for the above names will give you links to each.

Sitespinner is unique and effective if you are not into html. I use it and it works good. The company offers excellent support.

Dreamweaver - for beginners to html and the whole language / coding.
Photoshop - for them fancy graphics
Flash MX - for those cool intros and games

Or you can be just like me, get tonnes of html books, learn the language and write it all in plain old notepad.
