How Do I Record from local sound files onto a cassette?

I have a number of sound files stored on my system (.wav files & mp3's), and I would like to put them onto a cassette tape to send to someone. Most of these files were converted to mp3's or wave files from a cassette tape using the Windows Sound Recorder. I now want to reverse the procedure, and put a number of these files back to back on a cassette. Does anyone know how I do this?

I did that a long time ago and as I vaguely recall, you connect the sound card's "Line Out" to the cassette recorder's "Line In" then play the sound file. I never found any way to record it except in real time.
