tv card -> home lan

hi

my system is windows xp pro
i have 2 computers on home lan conected through router.

i'm looking for some app that would take my tv card as video source and serve this stream to another computer/s.
I tried videolan(vlc player) but it failed at least at that task (not mentioning random hungs).

Did anyone knows about some other programs?

thanks

There are a few, depends on the tv cap. card you have. They are all diff. Need to know what you have BEFORE I can tell you what will work with it.
for a quick try, go to moonlight.co.il, they have a bunch of stuff there that may be helpful. If not I have afew streamers here that I could foreward to you.

i've looked into that chipset, lot's of issues with it, if it wereme I wouldn't bother, but try this out. These are 'tweaked' reference drivers for the bt878 chipset...
http://www.iulabs.com/drv/index.shtml

iuvcr is an app, but the drivers are fully compat with any bt 878 chipset.

hope it helps

luck

thanks for that link
i installed these drivers and also iuVCr and there is one big problem
no matter how i scan the tv frequency range: cable, aerial or frequency
i miss almost all channels...only a few are found.
My tv standart PAL B but it can't tune to almost any channel...

but if i switch to previous driver and to previous tv viewer then all channels are there...

Do you have any idea why?
(even if these drivers are much better there is not much i can do with them)
