Question about Powrpoint 2000???

Hello

When I first started using powerpoint i didnt have this problem. This problem started up after rebooting the computer for the 1st time after instalation.

When I advance from one slide to the next I have the transition set to fade to black. I get a curtain swipe effect instead of the fade. Almost looks like its running low on memory. I didnt have this prob before whe I first installed it. Its kind of a disolve curtain swipe mix. Does anyone have any suggestions on this one? Are there any prrocessor settings i could change in Windows?
