Porblem with some programs behind WinGate

Hi :>

I have two computers connected trough the lan cards. On the first one (192.168.0.1) I have another lan card for the internet. I use WinGate to share the internet to the second one. It is fine but I have problems with the programs there and I think it is my mistake in configurating the WinGate proxy.

For example FlashGet can't download - I put the proxy settings to 192.168.0.1:21. But it can't connect!

Another one - when I set proxy on skype 192.168.0.1:10847 (it is a skype port) it can't connect too!

When I want to browse FTP sites I can't! In IE I put the proxy settings for FTP 192.168.0.1:21 - but it can't connect.

Only the nornal browsing is working. I put in IE proxy for http 192.168.0.1:80, it is in the same way as the others but... only this one is working.

I don't know where my mistake is. Could anyone help me?

Wingate

you must install wingate as a client at the second machine. For that, use the same installer program you have used to install the server... don´t forget setting second machine´s IP. You can also set DHCP feature in order the main machine sets other machine´s IP. Search for DHCP settings in the help files, ok? good luck!!!
