Microsoft Office Trial Version Conversion

I had installed on my HP computer a trial version of Microsoft Office Standard Edition 2003 for Students and Teachers. The trial version ran out Feb. 28 and, as I am not eligible to get the Students and Teachers edition, I would like to upgrade to the Standard Edition. When I click on to anything in the trial version, I am given a chance to convert or upgrade. If I upgrade using this online site and pay the $239 price via credit card to get the Product Key #, will I get a CD from Microsoft so that if my computer crashes at some point I will have a CD to reinstall Office. Also, by upgrading that way, will it be downloaded for me or will I still have to get the CD to do it? Has anyone upgraded this way successfully?
