DVD Editing program ???

Hello all
can someone advise me on a simple program that can take or rip a section off a dvd, video and sound,
I have a few music dvds and would like to put my favourite songs on one dvd.

DvdShrink, with this you can use the start frame/end frame function to get what you want. I do the same with various dvd's. And its a free program.

Funny thing is i was using dvdshrink but didn't realize it could rip sections
after reading your reply i searched through dvdshrink and found out how to do rip sections.
Need a bit more help if you could
Having a bit off trouble creating a dvd with the cut sections i'm using nero.
as the sections have the same name eg:VTS_01_1.VOB
tried renaming the second and third file to VTS_02_1.VOB or VTS_01_2.VOB
but they don't seem to work. I tried burnning a dvd using nero inserting all the ripped files from there own folders but it says overwriting files it will copy the vob to the dvd but when you play it , it will only play the first track.
any suggestions much appreaciated..
