Avi cutter...?

Hi,

so I was wondering what program (preferably free, trial version will do) I should use, if I wanted to cut xvid avi files? Does just any avi cutter do the job, or does it have to be a special one since it's xvid?

Virtualdub MP3 Freeze - Thats my fave, not used it in a lond time though. There is also "Virtualdub" but I think you will need "Virtualdub MP3 Freeze" to handle the VBR (variable bit rate) used by the audio track, or you end up with the sound and picture out of sync.
