I want to copy, or ghost, or mirror my c partition to a second HD. I plan on getting a 3rd party program like Norton. Is there any protection from a virus by having 2 hard drives, or can it just spread to both HD’s? Once I do make a copy of my c partition on the 2nd HD can I password protect it, and keep a virus out of it? Can I save any programs I download, like media player 10, or real player or any other program, to the second HD, or must I put them in the C/program file, incase I want to use them later, and not have to re-download them? Thanks all.
ok, I guess this was to hard of a question, or you all felt I should have googled this. I will go and google the heck out of it and try other fourms. I will post back here what I find out, so you can learn the answer, or if it is the case of not doing enought ...searching... then others will see the answer, and not have to bother the rest of you.
