Zone alarm and router

I have many questions,

when I set "stop all internet activity"

zone alarm always displays:

The firewall has blocked an internet broadcast to your computer
(UDP Port:162) from XXX.XXX.XXX (my router) UDP Port:1032

and the number is always climbing UDP Port 1032, 1033, 1034, etc.

Why does the router always scan port 162? where are those udp ports? what are they used for? How to stop the scanning, I can't seem to find the setting on the router's admin pages....

I'm not a ZA fan. I have tried it and found it problematic. It will take over your internet connection unlike other firewalls. I found it eventually blocked applications I had allowed and even cutoff my internet connection at one point. It has the ability or downfall to change settings on its own according to usage. This is too much in my opinion.
I know this does not answer your question but it may shed some light on the idiosyncrasies.

Recently it also notified me that it was blocking ICMP or somthing... I don't remember clearly at this time, but should this be a concern?

I'm still interested in why I'm recieving some packets, in somewhat an orderly fashion from my router. Is this some kind of attack... or is there something wrong with the router?

By the way, how does it "change settings according to its own usage"?

I haven't had any problems with it "taking over" my internet. I like the fact that it does catch programs from randomly accessing the net (I have it set to warn me everytime some prog wants net access).
