adobe

HI all

I have been working on a database for ages and within it are hyperlinks to .pdf files which have worked fine for ages... I have recently installed loads of new software since when the hyperlinks no longer work. Adobe just flashes up on the screen momentarily and thne disappears, however
I can open .pdf by going to the root directry and opening it there.

I have checked my filewall settings... can anyone offer any suggestions???? Many thanks in advance... Ian

Hi, If the links are being run as Pop Ups and you have recently installed a POPUP stopper, it will do exactly as you describe. Hold down the CONTROL Key or whatever your POPUP stopper uses and see if the PDFs work as before. If that works you will have to turn of the stopper when useing you DB. Luck, Jim

Have you moved the Database or the PDF files to a different location?? Moving them to another location could mess up your hyperlinks. If you don't have too many links, you could just update the links.....
