Why Norton Antivirus couldn't scan the email?

What did it pop up on the screen saying "Norton Antivirus couldn't scan the email?"

Does Norton do this everytime? Try resetting your email settings in norton and rebooting. If that does not do it you will have to uninstall and reinstall Norton (according to Norton). It's always a good idea to do an online scan when something like this happens for no good reason.
