Unhappy This is My fault, but it should be easy to fix

Okay so people, I stupidly, not remembering which version of mozilla firefox I had installed, i tried to update 1.04, by installing the 1.01 update. DUMB DUMB DUMB!!! Then to make matters worse, I did not uninstall the previous version. So I can't use mozilla firefox. And when I try to uninstall it, (by the way I am on a limited account, I think that may have something to do with it) The uninstaller for 1.04 freezes. Nothing happens to my PC just the uninstaller. If it's just a simple problem where my Administrator has to uninstall it and do everything please tell me.

Don't think it's a limited user account issue, otherwise you wouldn't have been able to install stuff either. Evidently you need to get rid of FF manually so you can start by deleting it's main folder in C:\Program Files\, Now download 'CCleaner' from:
http://www.ccleaner.com/ and use it to remove the broken entry from add/remove programs. (you'll find that feature in ccleaner's 'tools' menu). Then press the 'Issues' button in ccleaner to find invalid entries in the Registry and tell it to remove them all.
Now you should be able to install latest version of FF.
