Windows Movie Maker 2 freeze problems?

I just downloaded windows movie maker 2 and am really excited to start working on it.I messed around with it a little bit and found out that almost every time you delete or add a transition or effet it either freezes your computer or makes it unexpectdly quit.I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem and if they know how to fix it,if so please respond to this immediatly thank you.

Give us the specs on your machine. Does Movie Maker work well other than the errors you mention?

Windows movie maker 1 worked fine,and adobe premiere works fine but its to complicated for what i want too do.

I have a top of the line alienware with a geforce 4 ti 4600
756 ddr ram ,nforce mother board,60Gb harddrive with all he footage on comp about 17 left and i have an Amd athlon 2100+

There are no error pop ups or anything and i have windows xp

I am encountering the same problem.When I use the video transitions the programme unexpectedly quits!!! I have a pentium4 2.5ghz with windows xp installed.

I'm having problems with my movie maker too
one the play button dost work
two every time i turn it on and try to start something it alway says NOT RESPONDING
and every time it tell me not responding every thing on the movie maker gets delete from it
if any one dose figer things out pleas tell me
