But it doesn't seem to install to my IE 6.0 (Chinese edition), and I have no idea of why.

Get Mozilla (mozilla.org), it has built in popup blocking.

Kill Popup is too effective as to kill the links I clicked. So, regratefully, I uninstalled it. Any good idea?

I was recently pointed towards Opera by a fellow member of this board (thank you, Beeboy), and I find the pop-up killer to be quite good. It has an option that lets the pop-ups you request, such as the ones you posted about, open. The downside: after 14 days, ads appear unless you pay for registration. But the browser is much better than IE6, and may be worth the price.

Although IE 6is not perfect, I found some applications, such as on-line movies, require IE 6, and I have no idea of why. I don't know of Opera but I've heard someone mentioned it before. Does it contain built-in popup killer, as you said?

it most definitely does!!! the good thing about it, is it's not set up like a plug in that you have to turn on and off, it is integrated into the browser. and like i said, if you set it to the "allow requested pop-ups" setting, then it's almost like a Ronco product---set it and forget it.

well, it's not a built-in pop-up killer, but i have 'pop-up stopper' and it was free. You can also temporarily disable it if u wanna open one link by pushing Shift i think. It just sits in the taskbar and if you want to disable, you just click it. It might not be what you're looking for, but it works great for me.

You mean it could kill the link you'd like to click? But that's not what I meant to be.

I'm not sure what you meant by "kill one link" so, I'll try to explain. It sits near the clock and it either has a RED or GREEN X. If it's green, then pop-ups are allowed. If it's red, pop-ups are blocked. If you want to leave the pop-up stopper on (red), but want to open one link that opens in a new window, you can push shift (i think), hold it down, and then click the link. Holding shift temporarily turns it off, which is a nice feature. Hope it helps.
