file sharing

Does anyone know a simple way of sharing files between two computers over the internet? I understand a bit of FTP. FTP only works computer to server right? Any suggestions of programs capable of this one on one would be appreciated. Thanks.

you might want a take a look at this one of many other file sharing capabilities ,I personaly found it easy up-front to use...
