Need help desperately!!!

I found this post on the forum from ages ago, and it is my exact problem, but there was no solution posted! Could someone please help, if they have any ideas, as I rely on my emails!!

"Can anyone help. My Outlook Express is sending my emails with an error message and puting them in the OUTBOX. They used to go into SENT ITEMS. The recipient is getting them but I am told there is an error and it continues to resend(erroring each time). The recipient gets all the resent copies as well.
Why won't it go into SENT ITEMS? There are no error details given."

I had a virus that did weird things like that once. To be on the safe side you could do an online scan at Panda [or elsewhere] http://www.pandasoftware.com/products/activescan.htm
