What is this and can I delete it?

This appears in two different notepad windows on start up. It may be related to some software I downloaded. Since it appears in notebook I am assuming I can delete it. What do you think and how do I go about deleting it?

[.ShellClassInfo]
LocalizedResourceName=@%SystemRoot%\system32\shell 32.dll,-21787

Thanks

Jim

Hi Jim, I am assuming that the data you show is in the body of the file. The name of the file is at the top of Notepad and is probably XXXXX.REG. It is a file used by installers to place their data into your registry. You want to delete the file named at the top. Easiest way is to use FIND, then right click it and pick DELETE. Luck, Jim

Thanks for your help. After trying and trying to delete the files I finally found the right ones in my startup directory (makes sense now). So all is better and everything is working I hope.

Thanks again
