Right-Click Disabled

Ok, so I use a work computer and all of the sudden the right click has been disabled on certain parts. I am unable to click on the desktop, programs, files, or the taskbar. Its extremly annoying as I cant use most of the features I use on a daily basis. Also since its a company computer they have created restrictions on my user account through XP. Any help is appreciated.

It may be part of the restrictions you mention. You should ask the administrator at work to be sure.

yeah company and school computers usually have restrictions put on them by administrators. If you press CTRL+SHIFT+F and a pop up comes up for a password, then u have a program called fortres. But it could be a different security system too. I agree with FABScott, you shuold contact people at the Technology Department at your work.

See, thats a problem because they are always saying, "dont modify or use these computers in a way thats not what you should be doing." I know that there are restrictions but I'm thinking that this one is kinda gay.

Im currently heading into the MCSE career line and to me, it does sound like the Network Admistrator setup a policy denying those actions, so even though they enforce saying not to do it, they most likely setup a policy to prevent it so they wont have to sweat it anymore.

As said above, Id ask the administrator, just incase im wrong, but this isnt a common error a computer will get. I know how some of the right clicking features can make things a little quicker and/or get into a grove of using, but might have to resort to the less envasive ways.
