How to convert DVD audio

not sure if the topic is relevant.

but here's my problem. i have a burnt dvd movie, when i play it on my dvd player. the sound is in dual audio (chinese/cantonese). but when i played it on my PC using VLC, i can change the audio channel to left and right.

i want to watch it on my TV with my dvd player. but i need to use a convertor to convert the file into DVD Player playable right? how do i do that??
