A complex problem...maybe..

I have this problem, but i have no idea what is causing it. My computer restarts everytime I try to access something off of my slave drive. I use my slave pretty much to keep my music and a few games on. At first I thought that it might be my power supply, or my ram or something..but the computer would ONLY restart if I tried to access my e: drive...everything else runs perfectly. Then I thought that my e: drive must be corrupted. So I pulled it out and put it in someone elses computer, and it ran fine. I put someone else's hard drive in my computer and IT ran fine. The problems only come when I put MY slave drive in MY computer....this makes no sense to me...HELP!
